Pengaruh Slims (Senayan Library Information Management System) Terhadap Kinerjapegawai Di Perpustakaan Universitas Riau
This research is motivated by the low employee performance. This is thought to be caused by not yet optimally running the Management Information System at the Riau University Library. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of library management information systems, namely SLIMS (Senayan Library Information Management System) on the performance of Riau University Library employees.
This study uses an explanatory method approach to test hypotheses using an accurate statistical data test, this method explains social phenomena in this case used to examine the effect of Management Information Systems (X) as exogenous variables on Employee Performance (Y) as endogenous variables. The sample used was 50 respondents with census techniques. This study uses quantitative analysis using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis method which is intended to determine the magnitude of the influence of Management Information System variables on Employee Performance.
The results showed that the System Quality had no significant effect on Employee Performance (p = 0.494), Information Quality had no significant effect on Employee Performance (p = 0.373), Use had no significant effect on Employee Performance (p = 0.466) and User Satisfaction had no significant effect on Employee Performance (p = 0.192). Whereas System Quality has a significant correlation to Information Quality (p = 0.025), Information Quality is significantly correlated with Usage (p = 0.004), System Quality has a significant correlation to Use (p = 0.004), Information Quality has a significant correlation to User Satisfaction (p = 0.012) , System Quality is significantly correlated to User Satisfaction (p = 0.003) and Usage is significantly correlated to User Satisfaction (p = 0.005). This study can be concluded that simultaneously Management Information Systems have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the University of Riau Library.
