Gambaran Hasil Pemeriksaan Pewarnaan Bta Sputum Pada Narapidana Di Lapas Kelas Ii A Pekanbaru – Riau Yang Mengalami Keluhan Respirasi
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease which directly infect people caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and mostly infects lung. The risk factors of tuberculosis infection are environment, such as ventilation, dense place of living, the temperature of light and moist, and behavior like smoking, spitting around, coughing or sneezing without covering the mouth, and keeping the windows closed. Situation in penitentiary which mostly accommodate more people than it can, especially in big cities, contributing on the increase of infection vulnerability. To observe the result of BTA sputum coloring checking in Class II A prison Pekanbaru - Riau of convicted criminals who suffer respiratory problems and get treatment in the health clinic of prison in July - August 2019. The result of the research taken from 46 samples, 1 person (2%) had positive BTA, while 45 people had negative BTA (98%) and the one who had BTA positive is in the 35 - 45 years of age. The number of Lungs TB on convicted criminals suffering respiratory problems is considered low with only 1 case (2%) having positive result.
