Gambaran Penatalaksanaan Striktur Uretra Dengan Reseksi Dan Anastomosis End To End Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Januari 2017-November 2019
Urethral stricture is the narrowing of urethral lumen which is composed by fibroblast and collagen. Resection and end to end anastomosis is one of the management of urethral stricture. Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital of Riau Province was initially performed this management in 2017. The aim of the research is to identify the management of urethral stricture with resection and end to end anastomosis based on age category, history of treatment, etiology, length, and location of urethral stricture. This research used descriptive study and was performed in Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital of Riau Province with 13 total samples. In this study obtained resection and end to end anastomosis in the management of urethral stricture mostly occured in age category 15-24 and 25-44 years (38.5%) respectively, majority of patients (69.2%) had no history of treatment. Trauma was the most common cause (84.6%) with almost all of the patients had short (≤2 cm) stricture (92.3%) and anterior urethral stricture was the most frequent location (69.2%).
Conclusion: Resection and end to end anastomosis in the management of urethral stricture mostly occured in teenagers and adults, the majority of patients had no history of treatment with the most common cause was trauma, the majority of stricture location was anterior and ≤2 cm in length.
