Gambaran Kualitas Hidup Pasien Miastenia Gravis Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2015 - 2019
Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease in which the formation of antibodies to the acetylcholine receptor by the body and the occurrence of impaired motor nerve relations with muscle fibers that have clinical phenotypes. Skeletal muscle fatigue and ocular manifestations is diplopia and ptosis are the most common symptoms and characteristics of myasthenia gravis patients. The weakness of some muscles experienced is a problem for patients that causes work goals can not be achieved optimally. Some myasthenia gravis patients have difficulty in daily activities such as school or work.Aim :To knowthe description of quality of life in patients with myasthenia gravis at Arifin Achmad General Hospital, Riau Province. Method : Cross-sectional study was undertaken at RSUD Arifin Achmad in November, 2019 to December, 2019. Data were taken frompatients medical records and guided interviews using the Indonesian version of the 15-item Myasthenia Gravis - Quality-of-Life questionnaire, abbreviated MG-QoL15 INA. Data was presented in tabular and narrative form. Result :7 patients evaluated, 3 Patients (42.9%) had a good quality of life and 4 Patients (57.1%), had a poor quality of life. Patients who have long-standing characteristics have myasthenia gravis for> 2 years and the degree of myasthenia gravis group III leads to poor quality of life.
