Hubungan Infestasi Pediculus Humanus Capitis Terhadap Konsentrasi Dan Prestasi Belajar Pada Siswa Sdn 10 Bathin Solapan Di Perkampungan Suku Sakai
Pediculosis capitis is one of a health problem in children that is quite common and is not resolved. Pediculosis capitis causes itching on the scalp that can affect learning and in turn students achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the relation of Pediculus humanus capitis (P.h. capitis) infestation to students concentration and achievement in SDN 10 Bathin Solapan in Sakai Tribal Village. It was an analytical study with cross sectional design and conducted from August to December 2019 at SDN 10 Bathin Solapan in Sakai Tribal village. The total sample used was 88 studentss. The data used in this study were primary data retrieved form guided interviews, stroop test, diagnostic examinations and academia report. The results of this study were 19,3% of students infested with Pediculus humanus capitis, and 88.2% of them had good concentration while 11.58% had poor concentration. Students was infested with P.h. capitis had good achievement as much as 82.4% and 17.6% had poor achievement. The statistical analysis showed that there was no correlation between P.h. capitis infestations and studentss concentration (p value = 1,000) and achievement (p value = 0,072). It can be concluded that in this study P.h. capitis infestations did not affect students concentration and achievement.
