Dermatofitosis Serta Faktor Risikonya Pada Anak Panti Asuhan Di Pekanbaru
Dermatophytosis is a superficial fungal infection cause by dermatophyte and involving the stratum corneum in the epidermis of the skin, hair and nails. Orphanage is one of the places of residence that has a high level of occupancy density and physical contact between individuals which is a factor that facilitates dermatophytosis. This study was conducted in September to December 2019. This study was an analytical study with a cross sectional design and proportional random sampling method with 103 responden. The data collected by questionnaire, physical examination, and laboratoty examination. The results showed that the incidence of dermatophytosis in orphanage was 4.9%. Based on fisher exact test, confirmed that there was correlation between skin hygiene and the incidence of dermatophytosis, but there was no correlation between hand and nail, cleanliness of clothing and hair hygiene with the incidence of dermatophytosis.
