Hubungan Faktor Risiko Terhadap Kejadian Dermatofitosis Pada Siswa Sd Negeri 10 Bathin Solapan Kabupaten Bengkalis

Dermatophytosis is one of superficial mycosis that invade keratin which is located in stratum corneum, hair, and nails. Transmission can occur directly and indirectly. One of risk for dermatophytosis is poor personal hygiene. The purpose of this study was to know the relation of risk factors to the incidence of dermatophytosis in elementary school 10 students Bathin Solapan Regency Bengkalis. This research period was conducted from August 2019 – January 2020. This study used cross-sectional analytic approach. The samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique with 62 sample. Data collection using primary data obtained from the results of laboratory examinations of dermatophytosis infections and questionnaires regarding personal hygiene. The result showed that of 62 sample, there were 11 students (17,7%) positive dermatophytosis, with the most age 7-9 years old (72,7%), of male gender (81,8%), the most lesions location was tinea corporis (81,8%), students personal hygiene were good (87,1%). The results of this study statistically shows that there is no significant relationship between sex and the incidence of dermatophytosis (p value = 0,382, PR = 0,486), there is no significant relationship between age and the incidence of dermatophytosis (p value = 0,331, PR = 0,494), and there was significant relationship between personal hygiene to the incidence of dermatophytosis in elementary school 10 students Bathin Solapan Regency Bengkalis (p value = 0,000, PR = 18,00). That personal hygiene was one of effort that can prevent the incidence of dermatophytosis.
