Karakterisasi Film Tipis Batio3 Dan Srtio3 Dengan Menggunakan Spektroskopi Ultraviolet-Visible
Barium Titanate (BaTiO3) and Strontium Titanat (SrTiO3) are thin layer semiconductors on a ferroelectric crystal that has a perovskite crystal structure so that they can be applied as sensors especially capacitors. The creation of BaTiO3 and SrTiO3 materials in the form of thin films on a glass substrate has been successfully carried out. The method used is the sol-gel method. The goal to be achieved in this study is to obtain the value of the gap energy which includes absorbance, transmittance, refractive index value, layer thickness, and the absorption coefficient of the layer using the Tauc plot method. Characterization was carried out using Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometers on thin layers of BaTiO3 and SrTiO3 which were scaled at temperatures of 600ºC, 650ºC and 700ºC for 1 hour. The gap width of BaTiO3 thin films at 600ºC, 650ºC and 700ºC is 5.70 eV, 5.98 eV, 5.99 eV, and for SrTiO3 at temperatures 600ºC, 650ºC and 700ºC are 5.98 eV, 5.99 eV, 5.99 eV. The gap energy values obtained are in the range of 5.70-5.99 eV and this value includes the semiconductor material because the gap energy values are in the range of 1-6 eV.
