Karakterisasi Film Tipis Ba1-Xsrxtio3 Dengan Variasi Komposisi Menggunakan Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometry (Uv-Vis)
Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) thin films are electronic devices based on ferroelectrics formed from Barium Carbonate (BaCO3) doped with Strontium Carbonate (SrCO3) and Titanium Isopropoksida Ti(OC3H7)4 . BST thin films with different of compositions (x = 0.45 ; 0.55 and 0.65) were made on the glass substrate using the sol-gel method and annealing process at different temperatures ie 600oC, 650oC and 700oC for 1 hour. Characterization of optical feature of thin films was conducted by using ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy to determine the absorbance spectrum, transmittance, refractive index, thickness, absorption coefficient and energy band gap. The absorbance value obtained increases with increasing temperature and inversely proportional to transmittance. The energy band gap obtained in this study is in the range of 2.76 eV to 3.83 eV, indicating that BST thin films are classified as semiconductor materials.
