Pemetaan Tingkat Pencemaran Air Sungai Siak Sebelum Dan Sesudah Melalui Sistem Filtrasi Dengan 2 Kali Penyaringan Berdasarkan Parameter Fisis
Mapping of the level of pollution of Siak river has been carried out before and after the filtration system with 2 times of filtering based on physical parameters using the experimental method. This research was conducted by measuring the conductivity value, pH, and calculating the TDS value. The sampel used were water taken at 30 points above the surface of the Siak River in area A with coordinates (00°32'30.89''N, 101°26'12.78''E) to (00°32'29.66''N, 101°26'18.63''E) and region B (00°32'27.79''N, 101°26'12.12''E) to (00°32'26.91''N, 101°26'18.95''E). The tools used are conductivity meters and pH meters, while TDS is calculated based on the conductivity values obtained. Measurement of samples before the filtration process showed the lowest value occurred in area B, namely at B5, B6, B7, B8, B9 with a value 39 μS/cm. Conductivity measurements of area A show higher values with 49 μS/cm to 82 μS/cm. TDS calculation shows the same value, there are differences in the average value in the two regions, the average value of area A is higher 40.91 mg/L, while area B is 26.45 mg/L. Measurement of the pH value shows the lowest value occurred in sample A9 which is 4.4, but on average the pH value of area A is higher that is 5.84 when compared with the average pH value of area B which is 5.42. The Siak River water sample data before the filtration process showed pollution in the body of water, but after going through the filtration system with 2 times the filtering, conductivity value of the area A initially low increased to 204.7 μS/cm, and area B rose to 156.3 μS/cm. The same increase occurred in TDS and pH values. The increase in value that occurred was still below the threshold so that the filtration system with 2 times of filtering succeeded in changing the Siak River water into clean water.
