The occurrence of land fires in PakningAsal Village, Bengkalis Regency with different fire frequencies can cause changes to the structure and composition of the soil such as nutrient content so that it can affect soil quality especially nutrient elements Cu and Fe. Analysis of Cu and Fe content was carried out with Uv-Vis and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry.The results showed that there was a decrease in the total iron content and availability due to fire.total iron content and available in unburned soils several times (at least 2 - 3 times) decreases. The iron content is available from 26.24 mg/Kg. to 10.98 mg/Kg. and the total iron content from 36.06 mg/Kg. to 22.45 mg/Kg., the total copper content in the unburned soil, once burned and several times burned amounting to 25.451 mg/Kg., 28.104 mg/Kg. 24.319 mg/Kg. The copper content is available in unburned, single-burning and burning several times at 7.203 mg/Kg, 12.066 mg/Kg, 4.936 mg/Kg. The capacity of cation exchange has increased from 31.5291 me/100 grams, from unburnt soils to several times burning (at least 2 - 3 times). Base saturation has decreased from 2.62 to 2.36%.
