Pertumbuhan Dan Daya Hasil Terung (Solanum Melongena L.) Yang Diberi Pupuk Npk Dan Air Cucian Beras Terfermentasi
Province of Riau has large enough space areas for agricultural land, but it is dominated by marginal land which the availability of nutrient is low, so it needs to managed properly. The efforts that can be made to overcome these problems include the addition of nutrients to the soil through fertilization activities. Fertilizers given in the form of inorganic and organic fertilizers, including NPK fertilizer and fermented rice washing water which has the potential as fertilizer because contain several macro and micro nutrients that are beneficial to plants, based on those reasons, this research combines these two factors and aim for increasing growth and yield of eggplant. The research was done experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with observation parameters that are plant height, stem diameter, day one of flowering, day one of harvesting, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of fruits per plant and fruit weight per plant. The result of the research shows that the addition of NPK fertilizer at dose 400 kg.ha-1 and fermented rice washing water at dose 5 litres per plant tends to give the highest yield on observation parameters that are plant height, stem diameter, day one of flowering, fruit length, fruit diameter and fruit weight per plant. NPK fertilizer at dose 400 kg.ha-1 on Yumi F1 variety of eggplant tends to give the growth and yield better to other treatments on all observation parameters except day one of harvesting. Fermented rice washing water at dose 7,5 litres per plant tends to give the better result in growth and yield than other treatments on observation parameters that are plant height, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of fruits per plant and weight per plant.
