Sintesis Dan Karakterisasi Komposit Tio2-Sio2 Menggunakan Abu Ampas Tebu Sebagai Sumber Sio2
Composite TiO2-SiO2 is one of the widest used as photocatalysts, especially in the treatment of pollutants and wastes. The aim of this research is to synthesized composite TiO2-SiO2 by sol-gel method using the bagasse ash which has a high of SiO2 content, which is between 46-81%. Synthesis the composite was carried out by following the research methods of Yusefah and Amaria in 2014 using calcination temperatures at 400oC. The composite materials have been synthesized involves through several characterizations. Characterization using FTIR showed that there is a Ti-O-Si vibration which is indicates the formation of the TiO2-SiO2. Analysis with XRD shows that TiO2-SiO2 composites have an amorphous phase, besides that there is a change in the 2θ degree between TiO2 with composite TiO2-SiO2 that indicates there is changes in the crystalline phase composition and particle size.
