Morfometrik Ikan Sengarek (Belodontichtys Dinema, Bleeker 1851) Di Sungai Kampar Kiri Dan Sungai Tapung Provinsi Riau

Kampar River and Tapung River are the flood plain river ecosystem located in Riau Province. This research is a morphometric study (Belodontichtys dinema) which aims to know the difference of morphometric character of male and female in Mentulik and Bencah Kelubi. The method used in this research is survey method. The sample used amounted to 120 fishes consisting of 60 fishes, 30 males dan 30 females at each study site. The T test showed a morphometric difference between male fish in the Kampar Kiri River and Tapung River on the characters TB, TBE, LB, JSDPSE, JMPSPr, PDSA and PDSE while female sengarek fish had different characters at PT, PS, PK, TK, TB , LB, JSDPSE, JSPrPSE, PDSA, TSA, PDSD, PSD and PDSE. Growth status shows positive allometric, negative allometric, and isometric. The correlation between total length and other morphometric characters range from very strong, strong, moderate, weak, and very weak.
