Komunitas Capung (Odonata : Anisoptera) Di Taman Hutan Raya Sultan Syarif Hasyim Kecamatan Minas Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau
Dragonflies have an important role in the sustainability of an ecosystem. Ecologically, dragonflies is an insect predator and it can be an indicator of environmental quality in ecosystems. This study aimed to determine composition and diversity of dragon fly (Anisoptera) in Sultan Syarif Hasyim Grand Forest Park, Minas District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. This study was conducted from June to August 2019, using a sweep net technique along line transect length of 200 m in three different habitat types (open area, forest and riparian). This experiment obtained 844 individuals dragonflies representating two families and 20 species of dragonflies. Two families found were Libellulidae (19 species) and Gomphidae (one species). The highest number dragonflies were collected from Libellulidae family was 812 individuals. The most abudance dragonflies found in riparian habitat was 390 individuals. The highest species diversity (H’=2,71) were found in the riparian habitat and evenness (E=0,91) were found in the open area habitat.
