Sistem Prediksi Kelulusan Mahasiswa Menggunakan Metode Learning Vector Quantization
Based on the data of Undergraduate Program (S1) students in the Mathematics Study Program of FMIPA, Riau University, many students take more than 8 semesters. This shows that there are still many undergraduate students in mathematics taking more than the scheduled time of 8 semesters. This certainly affects the quality of Riau University as a tertiary institution. The number of students who graduate and new students who enter each year is not comparable, for this reason it is necessary to predict the graduation of students. By predicting student graduation early on, academics can implement a policy to minimize student delays in completing lectures. On this occasion the author will conduct research to predict the graduation of undergraduate Mathematics FMIPA University of Riau University students. One of the methods contained in this prediction technique is the Learning Vector Quantization method.
