Pembuatan Dan Perakitan Airframe (Fuselage, Sayap Dan Ekor) Wahana Terbang Serindit V-2
To improve the performance of flying racing plane, in 2018 the team of Flying
Robot Mechanical Engineering University of Riau again designed to build a
second-generation racing plane-type rides named Serindit V-2. The construction
process of Serindit V-2 has been completed in the design stage and the
manufacture of fuselage mould.
In this study, the stage was continued with the manufacture of Serindit V-2
airframes using fiberglass composite material on the fuselage, while the tail and
wings were made using foam core composite material. This research begins with
printing both parts fuselage using vacuum bagging method. Once done, both parts
of the fuselage were merged and finished using epoxy paint and paint clear.
Furthermore, the manufacture of wings and tail using foam core composite
material. Once all the parts of the airframes are completed, they are followed by
an assembly process from all parts of the airframes.
