Perancangan Dan Pembuatan Mesin Pencetak Biopelet Bahan Serat Batang Sawit
The biomass developed from the results of these oil palm trunks is wood pellet (wood biomass energy). Densification of biomass (forestry, agriculture and plantation waste) into biopelet is one method of developing the function of a resource that is increasing the energy content of each unit of volume, reducing the amount of ash in combustion and increasing heat capacity. The purpose of this final project is to obtain a biopelet palm oil printing machine that is efficient and easily utilized by the community. The components that are designed and made for the biopelet accelerator from this powdered palm stem material are plate die, roller press, shaft, motor, pulleys, v-belt, lower case, upper case, bearing and peg. Dimensions of the component size are obtained from the design calculations, dimensions of the die plate used with a diameter of 130 mm using a steel plate with a thickness of 20mm. The roller press used is 63 mm in diameter with a thickness of 26 mm. Electric motors used with a power of 0.25 HP. The drive pulley is 65 mm in diameter and the pulley driven is 77 mm in diameter. The shaft used is 25 mm in diameter with a length of 360 mm. The bearings used are types of rolling bearings with an inner diameter of 25 mm and an outer diameter of 32 mm. Upper case and lower case used are 150 mm in diameter with a thickness of 1 mm. The palm oil fiber making biopelet printing machine that is made can produce biopelet with a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 20 mm.
