Revitalisasi Sastra Lisan Lamut Di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

This research is titled Revitalization of Lamut oral literature in the Indragiri Hilir. This study aims to describe the stages of the revitalization of Lamut oral literature in the Indragiri Hilir. The type of research is qualitative and descriptive. The object of this research is Lamut oral literature. The source of data that is the object of this research are the Pelamut, Lamut text, and Lamut audience through the process of interviewing, recording, and audience through the process of Lamut. To obtain the data, the authors conducted a flow technique consisting of several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on research there are three stages of revitalization of Lamut oral titerature, namely reconstruction, reform, and reorientation. With the revitalization of Lamut oral literatue in Indragiri Hilir district, makes Lamut not seen as mystical and its exixtence does not fade and the implications of Lamut in the development of culture include as learning and tourism media in Indragiri Hilir.
