This research is entitled Directive Speech Acts in the Indonesia Lawters Club event. This research aims to analyze the categories of forms and functions of the Directive Speech Acts in the Indonesia Lawyers Club event. The type of this research is qualitative and descriptive, the object of this study is the Directive Speech Acts. The object of this research is the specch of a character in an Indonesi Lawyers Club event. The Indonesia Lawters Club event is a debate program foer candidates and representatives represented by polotical expets from each pair’s camp. The Indonesia Lawyers Club enent is 180 minutes long. To obtain research date the writer used the technique of downloading videos from youtube before the videos from youtube before the videos were watched and transcribed so that they could get date included the form and function of Directive Speech Acts. The date of this study amounted to 53 date. 1 Directive request, 2 Directive Cammond, 3 Solicitation Directive, 4 Prohibit Directive, 5 Advisory Directive, 6 and Critical Directive. In addition to forms, there is also a directive speech act function in the Indonesia Lawyers Club event. Invoking functions, offering functions, commanding fuctions, comprehensive functions, commanding functions, requiring functions, intstucting functions, forcing functions, borrowing functions, inviting functions, pushing functions, seducing functions, demanding functions, challenging functions, billing functions, targeting functions, support functions, urgent functions, prevent functions, forbid functions, advise functions, recommend functions, appeal functions, remind functions, mangirect functions, calling functions, reprimand functions, satirical functions, criticizing functions, angry functions, and swearing functions.
