Rancang Bangun Alat Percobaan Momen Inersia Dengan Menggunakan Timer Otomatis
A Research has conducted on a building of a moment of inertia experimental set up by using a self-timer with a variation in radius of the cylinders. This research was conducted by using an experimental method and its aims was to design a self-timer calculation tools used in the experiment of moment of inertia. The results showed that the average time in order to get the value of the coefficient of the moment of inertia of each cylinder with a height variation of the trajectory of the incline is at a height of 0.10 m obtained the average time for a cylinder rolling on an inclined plane as far as 2 m can be described by the equation regression y = 0.031x + 0.400, at a height of 0.15 m obtained by the regression equation y = -0.031x + 0.609, at a height of 0.20 m obtained by the regression equation y = -0.409x + 0.644, at a height of 0.25 m obtained by the equation regression y = -0.028x + 0.580, at a height of 0.30 m obtained by the regression equation y = 0.023x + 0.465. Based on the results obtained when the moment of inertia coefficient values ranging from 0.508 to 0.528 with a percentage error ranged from 1.725 % to 5.778 % and the amount of stray time ranged from 0.010 seconds to 0.030 seconds.
