ABSTRACT A transformer is an electrical device that can transfer electrical energy from one or more electrical circuits to another electrical circuit through a magnetic coupling and is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. Transformer is widely used both in the electric and electronic fields. Its use in power systems enables the selection of suitable and economic stresses for each purpose; for example, the need for high voltage in the transmission of electric power over long distances. In the industrial field, transformers are used as voltage boosters (step up transformers) and are used as voltage reducers (step down transformers). In the electrical machine practicum activities 1 at the University of Riau (UNRI) Electrical Engineering Labolatorium, the Dy11 and Dy5 Relationship 3-Phase Transformer is needed, because the available equipment is damaged, a replacement tool is needed.
