Tachometer digital putaran rendah
This final project, entitled Low Speed Digital Tachometer, aims to make a tool that has the ability to make it easier to find out the rotation speed of the motor, knowing that the rotation of the motor can regulate the rotation speed of the motor so it does not exceed the maximum limit, so that the use of the motor is more efficient and is expected to last longer in the motor age factor. This tool was built using Arduino UNO as a processing medium, this U-type optocoupler sensor functions to calculate the number of revolutions per second in RPM units using a chopped wheel (hollow disk). The rotating sensor with optocoupler generates pulses from the spinning wheel count, these pulses will be used as input to the Arduino to calculate how many pulses are received at a certain time unit. This trimpot voltage sensor functions as a reader each time the input voltage changes for the motor. LCD size 16 x 2 as output that displays the number of revolutions of the motor speed in units of RPM. This tool outputs as many as 3, namely 3V, 4V and 5V, where each change for the voltage lasts for 5 minutes. Keywords: Motor Rotation Speed, Arduino UNO, Optocoupler Sensor, LCD (16 x 2).
