Prediksi tinggi muka air tanah pada lahan gambut di kabupaten musi banyuasin provinsi sumatera selatan
Peatland fires in South Sumatra, one of which is Musi Banyuasin during 2018 is quite severe, there are around 38,000 hectares of burning land requiring extensive and dry peatlands that are difficult to extinguish during a fire. The peat layer will also be vulnerable to water damage of more than 40 cm. Efforts to keep the height less than 40 cm was carried out by monitoring ground level using the SESAME tool which can communicate rainfall and ground air surface data. The purpose of this study is to create a predictive model of surface elevation on peatlands using the regression method and predict surface height at land boundaries within a certain period. The prediction of groundwater level is carried out by regression analysis in 4 modeling scenarios, namely in 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months to determine the period that can be determined by hydrology in the field. The results showed that the regression analysis with a period of 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months to get the results of the predicted height of the land surface with a value of a strong increase coefficient of 0.756; 0.773; and 0.742. Whereas in the regression analysis for 9 months, the result of the prediction of land height with a comparison value of the expectation is 0.524
