Analisis Miskonsepsi Siswa SD Kelas V Di SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru Pada Materi Sifat-Sifat Cahaya
The purpose of this research is to study and describe the misconceptions of elementary school students. Where we know, that's a misconception that must be eliminated immediately because it will affect further learning. Thus, to overcome this, we need to study the mistakes of major misconceptions that occur. The method used uses tests and sampling techniques through saturated sampling is applied to obtain students who will be obtained throughout the fifth grade of SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. Research data were calculated and adjusted for the level of confidence of the four tiered tests and analyzed through descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that elementary students' misconceptions could be categorized as "moderate" with an average of 53.57% or the results of 60 students from 112 students. The highest misconception on material sub-indicators related to light sources with misconceptions of 68.75% or correcting 77 students out of 112 students who correct misconceptions. The lowest misconception that is equal to 35.71% or as many as 40 students who have increased misconceptions that is the sub-indicator of light can be refracted. Comparison of the percentage of misconceptions of male and female students on the material properties of light. If averaged male misconceptions by 53.57% were categorized as moderate misconceptions and women by 55.36% were categorized as moderate. Thus we can know there are still many students who correct misconceptions on the material properties of light.
