Analisa Difraksi Sinar-X Material Ferroelektrik Ba0.8 Sr0.2tio3 (Bst) Sebagai Fungsi Suhu
Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) is a ferroelectric material that is widely used as
storage media charge on the capacitor. Preparation of Barium Strontium Titanate
ferroelectric material (BaxSr1-xTiO3) has been performed using solid chemical
reaction by mixing barium carbonate (BaCO3), Strontium carbonate (SrCO3) and
Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) with a ratio of the composition 0.8 : 0.2 : 1. After the
process of mixing the materials in the pre-sintered at a temperature of 400oC for
15 minutes and printed in the form of pellets. Further annealing at a temperature
of pellets at 600oC, 700oC and 800°C for 1 hour, then the pellets in
characterization using X-Ray Difractometer (XRD). The characterization results
obtained show that the X-ray diffraction pattern for the three pellets Ba0.8Sr0.2TiO3
who have diannealing with temperature variation has several peaks at almost the
same angle but its intensity increases with annealing temperature. Teringgi
intensity obtained in the pellets at a temperature of 800oC dianneling. This shows
that the higher the annealing temperature is more crystalline pellets or
arrangement of the atoms are more regular, so the better used as a component in
the manufacture of capacitors. The crystal structure of the third pellet obtained a
tetragonal structure with a lattice parameter value is smaller than the lattice
parameter c.
