Pembuatan Dan Karakterisasi Sel Superkapasitor Menggunakan Karbon Aktif Dari Tempurung Kelapa Berdasarkan Variasi Pengaktivan Zncl2 Dengan Metode Penyemprotan
Supercapacitor electrodes from coconut shell charcoal with mass variation ZnCl2
activation have been created and characterized. The method used was experiment
method. Charcoal is milled 20 hours and sifted for 100 μm and chemical activation
was performed by ZnCl2 as an activating agent. The comparison of ZnCl2 and carbon
weight was 1:1 (A variation), 1:1.5 (B variation), and 1:2 (C variation). Measurement
of the physical properties of carbon powder carried by Scanning Electron Microscopy
structure, BET surface area analyze at the structure of the surface morphology and
surface area sampel. Meanwhile, the electrochemical properties of the electrode were
analyzed by using cyclic voltammetry in a solution of H2SO4 1M. The BET
measurement showed that the surface area values of 2.022 m2/g and 5.219 m2/g on
both sampels A and C variation. SEM micrograph on magnification of 500, 1000, and
5000 times showed that the respectively the result showed in ZnO appearance and the
obtained pores in C variation high A variation. The electrochemical properties
analysis resulted in a variety of specific capacitance values of 1.164 F/g for A
variation, 2.158 F/g for B variation, and 6.142 F/g C variation.
