Gambaran Pasien Kanker Paru Dengan Tuberkulosis Paru Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2015-2018
Lung cancer and pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) are chronic diseases, that need to be considered as global health threats. Chronic tuberculosis can cause lung cancer through chronic inflammatory processes and pulmonary fibrosis. This study aimed to describe the characteristics of lung cancer patients with pulmonary tuberculosis at Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital Riau Province 2015-2018 period. This research was a retrospective descriptive study. The result showed that were 42 (20,7%) lung cancer patients with pulmonary TB from 203 lung cancer patients. Most of the lung cancer patient with pulmonary TB were men (35 patient, 83,3%), aged between 46-55 years (14 patients, 33,3%), had non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) type of adenocarsinoma (26 people, 62%), had III B stage (15 people, 36%), had BTA positive (22 people, 52,3%), had type 1 category of treatment (29 people, 69%). Next for results the length of time the occurrence of lung cancer from pulmonary TB in under 5 years were (19 people, 79%), the duration of pulmonary TB from lung cancer in under 5 years was (14 people, 78%).
