Gambaran Komplikasi Pasien Kanker Paru Yang Menyebabkan Kematian Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Januari 2013-Desember 2019
Lung cancer is a malignancy originating from the lungs and from outside the lungs. Lung cancer causes 1,676,000 deaths worldwide. The aim of this study is to find out the description of lung cancer complications that cause death in RSUD Arifin Achmad, Riau Province in January 2013 - December 2019 period. The research design used in this study is descriptive with a retrospective approach that follows the subject to examine events that have not occurred ever since lung cancer patients first sought treatment in 7 years period. The results obtained in this study came from 34 subjects. The Age that is mostly found in this study is 40 years old as many as 30 people (88.2%). Lung cancer patients who experienced complications that died based on their sex are 27 men (79.4%) and 7 women (20.6%). The job that mostly found is self-employed which are 15 people (46.1%). Complications of lung cancer patients that cause the most deaths are superior vena cava syndrome which are 11 people (32.4%), brain metastases which are 5 people (14.7%), massive hemoptysis which are 5 people (14.75%), and pleural effusion Malignant which are 3 people (8.8%). Cytology type found in this study were Adenocarsinoma in 8 people (80%) and Squamous cell carcinoma in 2 people (20%). From these results, it can be concluded that there are 4 most complications that cause lung cancer patients to die.
