Gambaran Batu Ureter Pada Anak Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Januari 2013 – November 2019
Pediatric urolithiasis was frequently found in recent decades, and one of the most common locations is ureter. Pediatric ureteral stone can lead into hidroureter, hidronephrosis, or secondary infection if untreated. The aim of this study was to evaluate the patient profile of pediatric ureter stone in Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital of Riau in January 2013 to November 2019. This was a descriptive study with the date obtained from medical records. There were 14 subjects fulfilled the inclusion criteria, consisting of 64.3% male and frequently (78.6%) diagnosed in the 16-18 age group. Most patients (71.4%) showed flank pain as the clinical manifestation. The crystal urine was found in 85.7% and most (64.3%) patients were with normal kidney’s function. KUB – intravenous urography was frequently (42.8%) used as the radiologic imaging. The stones diameter sizes were varied but most (50%) found in 6-10 mm. The most common (71.4%) treatment was URS and ureterolithotripsy.
