Korelasi Pengetahuan, Sikap Dan Praktik Makan Remaja Putri Dengan Kadar Hemoglobin Di Panti Asuhan X Kota Pekanbaru
Anemia occurs due to maturity abnormalities or abnormalities in hemoglobin synthesis, usually due to an insufficient supply of iron (iron deficiency) or decreased globin production (thalassemia) or is idiopathic (cideroblastic anemia). Anemia is caused by a variety of factors, including lack of knowledge about the dangers of anemia, many experiencing negative attitudes when choosing food intake, resulting in poor eating habits.In the orphanage, it is difficult to control foster child intake because of the sufficient number of foster children many while the workers in orphanages are inadequate. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation of knowledge, attitudes and eating habits of female adolescents with hemoglobin level in orphanage X Pekanbaru City. Data was obtained using a questionnaire to determine the knowledge, attitudes and practices of eating among subject. Blood samples of 2 cc were taken form subjects for hemoglobin analysis. The design of this study was analytical with a cross-sectional method. The subjects of this study were 28 female adolescent who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study were analyzed using the Shapiro Wilk test, which showed that there was a negative correlation between knowledge and hemoglobin levels and strong potency (r = -0.514. P value 0.005), while for attitudes and eating habits there were no significant correlations with hemoglobin levels and thus the multivariate correlation between knowledge, attitudes and eating habits at hemoglobin levels could not be continued because knowledge was the only variables with p-value
