Gambaran Pasien Yang Dilakukan Pemasangan Water Sealed Drainage (Wsd) Di Ruangan Paru Terpadu Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2017-2019

Water sealed drainage (WSD) is one of therapies for lung disease. The purpose of this research is to determine the features of patients who were WSD-treated in Integrated Pulmonology Departement of Arifin Achmad General Hospital Riau Province. This study used descriptive retrospective method on patient’s medical record from 1th January 2017 – 31th December 2019. WSD was done on 102 patients, men 58.8% and women 41.2% with the majority of patients’ ages were 46-64 56.9%. The predominant employment in WSD-treated patient was entrepreneurs 31.4%. The most frequent diagnostic was pleural effusion 52.9%. The location of WSD was often done at 5th intercostal space, 98.0%. Complication that often occur in patients who do WSD installation i as pain with female totaling 24 patients (52,4%).
