Korelasitinggi Badandengan Dimensi Ukurantulang Phalanx Distal Jari Tanganberdasarkan Jenis Kelamin Pada Rasmongoloid Usia 18-45 Tahundi Provinsi Riau
One of the data needed in the process identification of forensic on a corpse that is difficult to recognize and in an incomplete condition on the issue of natural disasters, mutilation, and accidents is a height of the body. Estimation of height can be determined from the long bones of the body, one of which is the distal phalanx of the finger. This research aims to find the linear regression formula of the distal phalanx dimension to height based on sex in the Mongoloid race aged 18 - 45 years in Riau Province. The research design used was cross sectional. Stature meter was used to measure the height of the body, while caliper was used to measure the 6 dimensions of the distal phalanx bone of the left and right fingers. The data obtained were then performed awaiting analysis and linear regression. There were 226 respondents (113 men and 113 women) who were aged 18 - 45 years, in several places in Riau Province. The contradictory coefficient (r) was highest in male respondents with medium strength of the left thumb phalanx bone (r = 0.476). While the female respondents obtained the coefficient of Gets (r) the highest is the length of the distal phalanx bone of the left pinky finger with strength increased strongly (r = 0.513). Height regression formula obtained from the highest dimensions obtained in men is TB = 132,309 + (10,735 * distal phalanx length of left thumb) ± 4,857 cm and in TB women = 135,143 + (11,257 * length of distal phalanx bone of the little finger ) ± 4,632 cm.
