Praktik Penderita Tuberkulosis Paru Bakteri Tahan Asam Positif Dalam Upaya Pencegahan Penularan Penyakit Tuberkulosis Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Garuda Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru
Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is infection disease by droplet caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. The main source of TB is patient with BTA (+) through a sputum spark when cough, sneeze and talk. The purpose of this study was to determine the practice of BTA (+) pulmonary TB patient in effort to prevent TB transmission. This study was a descriptive quantitative with survey method. The subject of this study were all of BTA (+) pulmonary TB patient in working area of Puskesmas Garuda in Marpoyan sub-district Pekanbaru city as many as 47 people. Data collected using questionnaire, then summed the scores of each practice and presented as a percentage. The results of this study are that the practice of removing sputum (87%) is categorized as poor, categorized as good (13%). The practice of closing your mouth when coughing and sneezing and wearing a mask (98%) is categorized as less, (2%) is categorized as good. The practice of taking medication (64%) is categorized as less, (36%) is categorized as good. Clean and healthy living practices( 98%) are categorized as less and (2% )are categorized as good. It can be concluded that the practice of TB sufferers in preventing transmission of the disease is categorized as less.
