Gambaran Pasien Kanker Paru Berdasarkan Perilaku Merokok Pada Tahun 2018 – 2019 Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau

Lung cancer is the leading cause of malignancy in the world and it is also the cause of death due to cancer of 1/3 of the men in the world. This study aims to determine the description of lung cancer patients based on smoking behavior in Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital in Riau Province in 2018 - 2019. The research design used was a retrospective descriptive study using secondary data which is the medical record of lung cancer patients with smoking behavior in Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital Riau Province in 2018 - 2019. The results obtained in this study came from 80 patients. The highest number of cases was found in 2019 with 47 people (58,8%). The age that mostly found is 40 years old as many as 75 people (93,8%). Most gender found is male which are 77 people (96,3%). The highest amount of smoking is ≥ 20 cigarettes/day. The duration of smoking is mostly > 20 years which are 59 people (73,8%). The highest number of smokers degree are the heavy index which are 44 people (55,0%). The jobs are mostly entrepreneur which are 20 people (25,5%). The type of lung cancer is mostly squamous cell carcinoma which are 40 people (50,0%). Most lung cancer is in IV A stage which are 56 people (70,0%). From these results it can be concluded that lung cancer patients with smoking behavior increased from 2018 to 2019.
