Korelasi Panjang Tulang Humerus Dengan Tinggi Badan Berdasarkan Jenis Kelamin Pada Ras Mongoloid Usia 18 – 45 Tahun Di Provinsi Riau
Height is one of the parameters needed in the forensic identification process of non-intact corpses in the cases of murder, accident, and natural disaster. A human being's body height can be determined by measuring their long bones due to its linear and positive correlation to body height. One of the long bones in the human body is called Humerus. This research was conducted on 249 respondents (115 male and 134 female) of the age range of 18 - 45 years in several regions in Riau Province. This research was conducted to obtain correlation values and linear regression formula of body height to humerus bone length by gender. The design of the research is cross-sectional, while the statistical test that is used is Pearson correlation. The correlation coefficient (r) is positive with a strong correlation of 0.770 on the left humerus and 0.752 on the right humerus. The regression formula obtained was: in the male left humerus: height =129.277 + 1.204 (Hki) ± 5.10. On the right humerus: height = 129.958 + 1.185 (Hka) ± 5.13. In left female humerus: height = 123.852 + 1.248 (Hki) ± 3.82. On the right humerus: height = 124.558 + 1.204 (Hka) ± 3.80. For whole with left humerus: height = 118.636 + 1.498 (Hki) ± 4.79. On the right humerus: height = 118.667 + 1.481 (Hka) ± 4.95
