Korelasi Lebar Kepala Dengan Tinggi Badan Berdasarkan Jenis Kelamin Pada Ras Mongoloid Usia 18-45 Tahun Di Provinsi Riau
Height is an important parameter in the process of forensic identification. When the body is found to be no longer intact, measurements of certain body parts can be used to estimate height. Long bones have a high degree of accuracy for measuring height estimates. Not all forensic cases are found with long bones, so it is necessary to formulate another bone part that can be used to measure height estimation using bones from the head. Head width measurement which is part of chepalo-facial anthropometry is one way to estimate height. This research was conducted on 227 respondents (114 men and 113 women) in several places in Riau Province with an age range of 18 - 45 years. Body height and head width measurements were taken to obtain correlation values and linear regression formulas for height based on sex. The study design was cross sectional. The statistical test used was the Spearman correlation to determine the correlation of head width with height and linear regression analysis to determine the height regression formula based on gender.
