Identifikasi Bakteri Multiresisten Antibiotik Pada Pasien Karies Gigi Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
Dental caries is local damage to vulnerable dental caries tissue characterized by the appearance of caries tissue on the surface of the teeth is chronic and can cause tooth loss if not treated. The cause of dental caries is the presence of bacteria, saliva, acid tolerance, sugar consumption and the behavior of rarely cleaning teeth. This study aims to identify, analyze bacteria and antibiotic multiresistant in dental caries patients. The study was conducted at Arifin Achmad general hospital in Riau province and Microbiology Laboratory of medicine faculty Universitas Riau. Samples in the form of dental caries tissue were cultured and identified 30 antibiotic multiresistant bacteria, this study consisted of 10 men (33.33%) and 20 women (66.67%) with the highest frequency at the age range of 17 -25 years (26.67%) and the age range 26-35 years (26.67%). The result showed that there were 17 samples of negative Gram bacteria (56,66%) and Gram positive bacteria were 13 samples (43,33%). The results of the Staphylococcus aureus resistance test against cefoxitin antibiotics showed that the sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) was 4 samples (57,14%) and the resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteria were 3 samples (42,85%). The results of the presumptive ESBL test were 9 samples (100%) with positive ESBL bacteria, namely Escherichia coli 2 samples (25%). The ESBL results of the confirmative test on Gram negative bacteria obtained 2 sample (100%) which was positive for ESBL namely 1 Escherichia coli (100%).
