Schizophrenia is one of the most common mental illness that can be found in Indonesia. Schizophrenia caused several things that can result to decrease quality of life, sosial function and the occupation of the patient. Relapse of the schizophrenia patient is very high in frequency. The aim of this study was to evaluate the profile of schizophrenia relapse in intensive care unit of psychiatry Tampan asylum Riau Province in January – June 2019. This was a descriptive study with the date obtained from medical records. There were 115 subjects fulfilled the inclusion criteria, consist of 79 (68,7%) male and frequently (40,9%) diagnosed in the 35-44 age group. Most of the patient (27%) lived in Pekanbaru. Majority of the patient (53%) have get married. Educational status in schizophrenia patient (37,4%) is frequently finished in senior high school. Most of the patient (73%) don’t have a job in their daily life. The frequency of relapse in the patient (61%) mostly happen more than three times. The most common relapse stressor in the patient(49,6%) is disobedient when consume the medication.The type of schizophrenia that most common in the patient (67%) is paranoid schizophrenia. All of the patient (100%) use combination antipsicotic as the method of their treatment.
