Gambaran Pasien Hospital-Acquired Pneumonia (Hap) Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi RiauTahun 2017–2019
Pneumonia is an acute lower respiratory tract infection that affects the lung parenchyma to the distal part of the alveoli and causes disruption of gas exchange and lung tissue consolidation. Hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) is pneumonia that occurs after 48 hours of being treated in a hospital or other health care facility, with no administration of tracheal intubation. The incidence of HAP ranges from five to more than 20 cases per 1000 patients hospitalized. This study was conducted to describe of HAP patients in RSUD Arifin Achmad 2017-2019. It was a descriptive research with a retrospective approach that obtained from secondary data in medical records. The results obtained showed that most HAP patients were found in the age group >65 years with a percentage of 30.4%, with the most common sex was women (53.6%). Most HAP patients were found to have Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus as a comorbid disease with a percentage of 10.7% with the longest HAP patient stayed ≥5 days with a percentage of 78.6%. The most common outflow condition for HAP patients was improvement in the condition with a percentage of 73.2% and the most complaint found was dyspnea with a percentage of 37.5%.
