Analisis Penerapan Sistem Zonasi Pada Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Siak Hulu Kabupaten Kampar
The purpose of this research is to find out how the application, the factors that become obstacles, and the impact of government policy on the process of new students admission (PPDB) zoning system at state junior high school in Siak Hulu District. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The conclusions of this study are: 1) The zonation system application in new students admissions consists of three stages including: Preparation, implementation and evaluation. 2) The factors inhibiting of new students admission zoning system are: The socialization of the zoning system PPDB conducted by the office is not optimal yet, the PPDB website server capacity is inadequate, the internet network at school is unstable, sometimes slow and disconnected, the electricity network is not work and without notification from the PLN, most new students do verification at the last second of the verification time, there are still many prospective students who cannot register online, prospective new students and parents do not understand how the process and how to register the PPDB zoning system. 3) The positive impact of new students admission zoning system are:
There is an even distribution of quality of schools, opportunities for local sons to enter the nearest school are greater, the distance of the school close to home so that they can walk or bike, can minimize congestion, and parents can monitor the children's relationships. The negative impacts of new students admission zoning system are: The new students cannot choose a quality school, and student motivation is low because competition in the classroom is the same as when in elementary school.
