This study uses the theory of Putnam (2000) which states that social capital refers to the essence of social organization, such as beliefs, norms and social networks that allow the implementation of activities to be more coordinated and community members can participate and cooperate effectively and efficiently in achieving common goals. Social capital is divided into 3 forms, namely trust, network and norms applied in the development of kelulut honey. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive ethnographic approach. The informants in this study were the Tambak Village government, KTHTM, kelulut honey customers and the Tambak Village community. Informants were taken using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Data analysis used a linear and hierarchical approach. The results of the study found that social capital in the development of kelulut honey for the welfare of rural communities is still running well. Then the factors that hinder social capital in the development of kelulut honey for the welfare of the village community are technical guidance (solving natural colonies), limited capital and the location of kelulut honey activities. This is what hampers the development of kelulut honey.
