Pesan Moral Dalam Lirik Lagu Pada Randai Kuantan

This research is motivated by the desire to know the moral message in the lyrics of randai songs. The formulation of the problem in this study is what moral messages are contained in the lyrics of the song Randai Kuantan. Aims to describe the moral message in the lyrics of the song. This research can be useful for readers, especially students, teachers and lecturers in the field of literature and social society. This study used qualitative research methods. Data sources obtained from CD and YouTube. The data of this study are the lyrics of the song Randai Kuantan which contains moral messages. Data collection techniques are documentation techniques (records, notes, videos). The data analysis technique of this research was conducted by listening to songs repeatedly, transmitting data, identifying couplets containing moral messages, calssify data, describing moral message data, discussing moral messages and summarizing the results of moral messages in song lyrics on Randai Kuantan. The results of the research on Kuantan randai song lyrics are 18 song lyrics. Of the 18 song lyrics in the form of the pantun genre, no poetry genre was found. There are 30 data that contain moral messages. Because the lyrics of the Kuantan randai song are in the form of rhymes, the moral message tends to be in the content section, however it is also found in the sampiran section. There are 3 moral messages found in the sampiran section, while in the content section there are 27 moral messages. Moral messages obtained from these data relate to cooperation, maintaining friendship, hard work, sincerity, being grateful and maintaining attitudes. The conclusion of this research is the moral message contained in the contents section.
