Analisis Efektivitas Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 2 Perhentian Raja Kabupaten Kampar

This research is descriptive qualitative research. The technique of data collection was done through observation, interview and documentation.This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Perhentian raja , the object of the research is to look at the effectiveness of SMP Negeri 2 Perhentian raja. Research aims to analyze (1) Planning a work program that supports the achievement of the vision and mission of the state SMP Negeri 2 Perhentian raja, Kampar Regency, (2) The implementation the leadership of the principal of SMP Negeri 2 Perhentian raja, Kampar Regency, (3) Implementation of the curriculum SMP Negeri 2 Perhentian raja, Kampar Regency(4) Management of facilities and infrastructure SMP Negeri 2 Perhentian raja, Kampar Regency, (5) Management of facilities and infrastructure for SMP Negeri 2 Perhentian raja, Kampar Regency, ( 6) Partnership between schools, parents and the community at SMP Negeri 2 Perhentian raja. Research respondents were school principals, teachers, and school committees, with 5 respondents.
The results obtained from this study are (1) In the preparation of the work plan is still dominated by the school principal, meeting and mutually agreed with the teacher and school committee, (2) In the leadership of the principal, the principal only supervises learning activities by going around the school without waiting for the activities of educators in the classroom or supervision, (3) In the curriculum, schools have management guidelines in the form of school curricula, educational calendars, organizational structures, academic regulations, and school regulations, (4) in the field of educators and education personnel are still being developed by educators themselves. Still limited to following existing training programs such as MGMP and KKG, (5) In the field of facilities and infrastructure, facilities and infrastructure are also still a lot damaged, scrawled and not yet managed properly, (6) in partnership cooperation between schools, parents and the community, schools only partner in government agencies and their roles as well as parents are still low.
