Kemampuan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah Dalam Menciptakan Sekolah Efektif Di SMP An-Namiroh Pekanbaru
This study aims to find out information about the principal's managerial ability to carry out the planning, organizing, directing and controlling processes in order to create an effective school. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use an interactive model that is data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions or verification. Data validity test is tested through credibility, dependability, and confirmability.
The results of this study indicate that: (1) The principal makes plans based on the vision and mission of the school and consists of several programs. Ranging from daily, monthly, semester programs to featured programs. (2) The school principal organizes, by placing staff and teachers in accordance with their respective abilities. In addition to teaching, some teachers are assigned to foster and train extracurricular programs and coordinate several programs in accordance with planning. 3) The headmaster conducts directions and applies his role as a leader. (4) The school principal conducts planned or spontaneous control or control. However, planned implementation of supervision is not yet implemented. Then, the management function performed by the principal becomes a process in building quality inputs and producing quality outputs in order to create an effective school.
