Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi Dan Komunikasi Interpersonal Terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMP Cendana Riau
In the world of education, teacher performance is the result achieved by the teacher in carrying out tasks based on skills, experience and advantages as well as the use of time in the learning process at school. Teacher performance will be good if the teacher has implemented elements consisting of high loyalty and commitment to teaching assignments, mastering and developing learning materials, teaching discipline, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal communication skills, creativity in teaching, working the same as school members, with a personality that is a student role model, a good personality, honest and objective in guiding students and responsibility for their duties.
In improving teacher work performance, support from organizational culture and interpersonal communication is needed. A strong organizational culture will create a form of employee behavior and good teacher performance, then it will affect competition between organizations. Likewise with interpersonal communication, working with school members also requires good interpersonal communication.
This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and interpersonal communication both simultaneously and partially on teacher performance. The population of the study were 34 teachers of SMP Cendana Pekanbaru and SMP Cendana Mandau, all of whom were researched (census). The type of data in this study is primary data for organizational culture variables and interpersonal communication sourced from Cendana Riau Middle School teachers using questionnaires and secondary data for teacher performance variables sourced from the Principal of Cendana Riau Middle School with documentation techniques. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS.
The result of the study indicate the influence of organizational culture and interpersonal communication both simultaneously and partially on teacher performance at SMP Cendana Riau. The influence of organizational culture and interpersonal communication simultaneously can be seen from the coefficient of determination (R2), which is 66.5 %, while the remaining 33.5 % is influenced by other factors outside the factors studied.
