Efektivitas Pengelolaan Sekolah Esa Sejahtera (SES) Pekanbaru
Education is a conscious effort to create a learning atmosphere so that students can develop their potential. In Republic of Indonesia Law Number 20 Year 2003, it is explained that education aims to educate the nation's life. To achieve this goal an educational institution was formed. There are three lines of education, namely the formal education pathway (school), the non-formal education pathway (outside school), and the informal education pathway.
Education is also an activity that always accompanies human life, starting from a nation with a simple civilization to a nation with high civilization (Kompri, 2015: 16). Humans must also be able to educate both themselves, their families, and society in general in the surrounding environment.
Today's education is something that is very much needed by society, so that the government as a provider of formal education always advances any education for the community because with education it is hoped that it will give birth to the next generation of human beings who are responsible and creative. This is in the goals of national education which have important for the survival of a developing nation.
Education is a determining part of the progress and resilience of a nation in the future. Education is a strategic alternative way in educating the nation. Education is also the main capital for the development of a nation. With education, a nation can master science and technology.
Schools as a place for teaching and learning activities to take place do not just run without other supporting factors. School is a system where there are input, process, and output. The three of them are elements that cannot be separated and are related to one another. School input, for example, there are students. Students participate in learning activities as a process. The most important thing in a process is conducive learning conditions equipped with complete facilities and infrastructure. With a conducive atmosphere, students are expected to be more concentrated when studying. The output is qualified graduates.
Seeing the factors that cause our human resources to lag behind other developed countries, it is only natural that we are smart in assessing our current education. We should know the basics of how quality education is effective to provide a large space for us to be able to face this very advanced era. One of them, is by knowing quality schools and schools that are effective in their management.
Understanding school effectiveness is something that is very difficult without carrying out school functions. Different schools may have different appearances and effectiveness for different functions and purposes. For example, some schools may be good at helping students, personal development, while some other schools are

extraordinary in terms of technical production competencies for the needs of their communities.
This research was conducted at Esa Sejahtera School (SES) Pekanbaru. The main informant of this research is the principal at Esa Sejahtera School Pekanbaru. While the supporting informants are 2 teachers, and the parents of students as school partners. The results of this study are:
the effectiveness of education management in Esa Sejahtera school Pekanbaru is very effective, seen from the effectiveness of school management, it has completed all the standards of each indicator and can be categorized as very effective.
