Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi Dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri Di Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota Kabupaten Kampar
This study aims to determine the influence of variables (1)
organizational culture on teacher performance, (2) work environment on teacher
performance, (3) organizational culture and work environment together on
teacher performance. Respondents of the study were 145 teachers of State Junior
High Schools in Bangkinang City with a sample of 107. The data was collected
through questionnaires as a research instrument. The data analysis used is
descriptive analysis, inferential statistical analysis.
The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Alpha
Cronbach formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant
influence between academic supervision on teacher performance of 0.648, and
there was a positive and significant influence between teacher commitment to
teacher performance of 0.565. Meanwhile, together there is an effect of academic
supervision and teacher commitment to teacher performance of 0.668. Some of
the efforts that the principal can make include building a good organizational
culture and supporting the activities and abilities of teachers. Organizational
culture that already exists and is good for teacher performance must be
maintained and developed so that it is better and increasingly supports teaching
and learning activities in schools. The work environment of each teacher towards
the school or where they serve is the most important agreement so that the
teacher's performance is better. If a teacher does not have a comfortable work
environment to improve the education that is carried out in the school where they
teach, it is clear that the teacher's performance is very far from good because it
does not have a good and comfortable work environment for improving education
for the school. For this reason, efforts must be made.
