Pengaruh Tingkat Pendidikan Dan Tingkat Pengangguran Terhadap Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Di Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the effect of Education Level and
Unemployment Rate on Community Welfare in Pekanbaru City.
This study uses secondary data in the form of annual time series data from
2009-2018. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression, statistical
testing includes the f test, t test, and R square (coefficient of determination), as
well as the classical assumption test, namely the normality test, multicollinearity
test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedestheticity test with the help of the SPSS
24.0 program. .
The results of the research obtained are the level of education (X1) and
the level of unemployment (X2) simultaneously affect the Welfare of the
Community with R2 of 61.3% while 38.7% is influenced by other factors not
examined. Partially the level of education (X1) has a positive and insignificant
effect on people's welfare and the unemployment rate (X2) also has a negative and
insignificant effect on people's welfare.
