This study aims to determine the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product
(GRDP), Inflation and Deposit Interest Rates on demand for three-month Time
Deposits at commercial banks in Riau Province in 2010-2019. The type of data used
in this study is secondary data for the period 2010-2019 sourced from Bank
Indonesia and the Central Statistics Agency. The independent variables in this study
were gross regional domestic product (X1), inflation (X2) and deposit interest rates
(X3), while the dependent variable was demand for three-month time deposits (Y).
This research uses quantitative research methods, and analyzed using the Eviews
version 10 computer application program. In the results of the study it was found that
the influence of gross regional domestic product, inflation and deposit interest rates
together (Simultaneously) significantly influence the demand for three-month time
deposits at commercial banks in Riau Province. Partially, gross regional domestic
product has a positive and significant influence on demand for three-month time
deposits, inflation has a negative and significant impact on demand for three-month
time deposits, while deposit interest rates have an insignificant and insignificant
effect on demand for three-month time deposits at commercial banks in Indonesia.
